Having recently started a new role as Manager of Exercising with UK Finance, the journey that has led me here today has been far from traditional. My story begins across the globe, in Melbourne, Australia, where I was born and raised. As a teenager, I dreamt of a career where I could help people and make a difference, which is why I wanted to join the police. After studying a bachelor’s degree in Social Science and Criminal Justice, I decided to train as a police emergency call-handler and dispatcher to fund the travels I wanted to do prior to committing to a career in the police.
